Virtual Technical Service Training Seminars
Helmer Scientific is providing live virtual training events. Each training seminar is designed for technicians with core maintenance, troubleshooting, refrigeration skills. The courses are modular and will be broken down by different subject matters. The virtual service training event will be taught by Helmer Scientific technical staff who will provide in-depth training on Helmer products.
Day 1 – Installation & Orientation
Monday, November 18th
During this virtual training event we will discuss proper installation procedures for GX equipment and provide orientation of the equipment that includes a basic component overview. We will walkthrough both the Horizon™ and i.Series® user interfaces and will conclude with a live Q&A.

Day 2 – Preventative Maintenance & Diagnostics
Tuesday, November 19th
During this virtual training event we will discuss preventative maintenance procedures for GX equipment, including an in-depth temperature calibration walkthrough. We will also provide diagnostics for the most common issues encountered. We will conclude with a live Q&A.

Day 3 – GX Freezers
Wednesday, November 20th
During this virtual training event we will discuss the specifics of Helmer GX freezers. While the Helmer refrigerators and freezers share many similarities in installation, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and general design, there are differences. In this session we will cover the following details specific to Helmer GX freezers:

Day 4 – Hydrocarbons & Servicing
Thursday, November 21st
During this virtual training event we will discuss hydrocarbons as a refrigerant. We will also provide a demonstration on servicing hydrocarbon-based GX refrigerators and recommended safety practices. We will conclude with diagnostics for VCC compressors.
